How This Studio Singer Turned Content Into A Lead Machine

Tim Davis is a Los Angeles studio singer who's worked behind the scenes in the entertainment industry for 30 years. He launched a first-of-its-kind platform to find skilled singers around the world and bring them into the industry, so he has little competition, but he also had zero idea how to reach people beyond those who already knew him in LA, Nashville, and New York.

He wanted to go national and, eventually, international. What he needed was a strategy and a system to get there through social media.

The Process

We started by helping Tim identify his own gaps, where he needed help, then stepped in to fill them. We set up his Slack channel and strategy, and matched him with a content creator, Focus, who knew the current trends and handled the editing so all Tim had to do was supply raw footage.

Focus turned that footage into reels, carousels, shorts, and platform-specific posts, getting creative with elements Tim never would have thought of. We also built out his ManyChat funnel, trigger-word automations that route commenters to city-specific landing pages for his live events.

The Results

A dedicated content creator plus an automated funnel turned Tim's content into a real lead engine.

1) A content-to-lead funnel that converts. For his Studio Singer Intensive events, a reel's call to action prompts viewers to comment a trigger word. ManyChat then automatically asks which city is closest and sends them to that city's landing page to register, and people have gone through the full process to sign up.

2) Content that gets noticed. Peers across the creative space constantly ask Tim who's making his content, telling him it looks pro and it's "killing it." That visibility strengthens his reputation in an industry built on it.

3) A repeatable system that drives sales. The ManyChat and Upperhand system makes it easy to capture leads and follow through, from a comment, to a landing page, to a one-on-one consult, to a sale. Tim sold reels at his most recent intensive and now feels his whole operation is set up to convert.
