How This Realtor Finally Married Her Story To Her Brand

How we helped a realtor go from inconsistent, do-it-yourself marketing to a dedicated editor who brought real consistency to her social media and helped her finally tell the story she'd struggled to tell for years.

"He makes me better. I'm not just doing more videos, through creating all the content, I'm actually learning more. I feel stronger in my craft."Marsha Clemons

Background

Marsha Clemons is a realtor in a tourist market, working largely with investors and second-home and vacation-home buyers, most of them from out of town. She'd never done content before and didn't really know what to expect going in.

For two or three years, she'd wanted to combine her personal story with her real estate work. She does real estate the way she does because of her story, but she could never figure out how to communicate that. She was apprehensive about content, but desperate enough for consistency that she was willing to try.

The Process

We placed a dedicated content specialist, Waji, and made the onboarding seamless, it took the sweat equity off her plate entirely.

Waji brought consistency to her posting and, most importantly, helped her marry her personal story to her real estate brand, the exact thing she'd struggled to do on her own for years. Whenever she needs a change, it's handled without friction, so she never feels like she's imposing.

The Results

Working with a dedicated editor gave Marsha consistency, a clearer brand, and her time back.

1) Real consistency at last. Marsha is thrilled with how consistent her social media has finally become, and she feels the content is even making her better at her craft, not just more visible.

2) A brand that tells her story. Waji helped her combine her personal story with her real estate work, something she'd wanted to do for two or three years but couldn't crack. Now prospects can understand who she is and why she'll work as hard for them as she has in her own life, building the kind of trust that matters with out-of-town buyers.

3) Zero sweat equity. The entire hiring and management burden was lifted. Marsha didn't have to think about sourcing, screening, or managing an editor, and says she'd 100% go through Upperhand again rather than deal with the hassle herself.
